   The WDO routinely tests professional players for alcohol. They face an immediate suspension from the circuit if their blood come back with less than 20% vodka in it

   I think it is essential to great playing ya know!Of course, the reason most darters (me included) are, shall I say consistently inebriated is because it’s important to stay well hydrated during the match.So there you have it, it’s a health thing! Why can’t you play well since you’ve given up? Must be the shakes!

   Here’s a drunken darts game for when you fall off the wagon…
   Drunken Darts
   Rate This Game:
   Email this game – send it to a friend
   Players: 2 at least, works best with 3-5.

   Object: To get a higher score than all the other players.

   Directions: Each player throws two darts. One with their left hand, one with their right. Then the total is added, and the player with the highest doesn’t have to drink, and everyone else drinks the difference of what they threw.

   Rules: Numbers are just worth their straight up values, no doubles/triples. However an outer bullseye is worth 25, and the inner bullseye is worth 50. If you miss the entire dart board (hit the wall) subtract 5 from you total. So if you miss both darts you’re at a -10. If it hits the board, but doesn’t stick it’s just a 0.

   Example: 3 players – Bob, Geo, Danimal

   Bob – total of 40
   Geo – total of 15
   Danimal – total of -5 (hits the wall with one dart, other hit’s the board but is not worth anything)

   Bob – drinks nothing, laughs at the others
   Geo – drinks 25 drinks
   Danimal – drinks 45 drinks

   Use your judgement on drinks. The goal of the game is to get drunk, not be a *****. Some standards – 20+ drinks is finish your beer, 40+ finish your beer and kill another. Enjoy it. Even if your good at darts, using your other arm to toss can ***** you. No set game limit. Just something to pass time for beer drinkers.

   NO, i play darts and find it is alot harder to aim and concentrate when drunk. It’s fine to have a couple of drinks, but too many and your a goner.

   One must be DRUNK not necessarily a DRUNKARD to play good darts. If you given up the booze, your darts are f**ked, if you give up the darts, you can still be drunk.

   lol..being in a league I have seen people who only shot good when drinking.I personally if i have one drink I can’t even come close to hitting the board.

   You don’t need to be a drunkard, but drinking has always been part of the world of darts and it is something that should never be changed, whose round is it???

    I think when you’re properly sloshed, you’re more relaxed, and not overthinking your throws. Sounds good, anyway. Oh well, I’m off for another round.
