Ha ha, I met both of them separately! Played Wolfie at a Charity event on Arran and met Phil Nixon in Wetherspoons in Durham near his home! Adams seemed the nicer bloke (Nixon was all bling bling with medallions being like Bobby George)
Martin Adams lives near me and played in the pub locally, use to buy a news paper at the same time as my dad in the mornings from the post offices, I think wolfie is great!
just to clear it up… Martin Adams aka Wolfie won that match..he won the championship!! he is a darting legend!! i love him!! lol i just watched him beat bob thornton aka the thorn in the lakeside quarter finals ‘08!! wasn’t the best game tho!
